Velez Malaga is an old town in the province of Malaga. Theatre del Carman is in the old town area which was the venue for Saturday night 14th May. Mama Paula and the guys took to the stage for the second part of the evening following Jesus Arand´s band Custom Blues Band. Opening with a BB King song How Blue Can You Get to the delight of the near capacity crowd, the band then went on to play an assortment of classic and originals. Finishing with a Mama Paula track Trouble in the City. The band were well on form with some great Hammond Organ and Piano work from Dr Karl. Pablo graced us with two beautiful Bass solos and Nacho did his wonderful Drum solo in the penultimate song, all this with Mama Paula’s blistering guitar solos all night long made for a true night to remember. Following the show there was a jam session at the end with the entire cast on stage playing that all time great I got my Mojo Working. A standing ovation at the end for Mama Paula and Jesus, well done guys, more of this please….and soon!…..
